Doughy is a creative tool that helps parents and children make story-driven videos together. It offers playful prompts and shared experiences, moving from passive, personalised smartphone content, towards meaningful connection.
Designed for families who often watch separate videos on their devices, Doughy supports parents who want to engage but aren’t sure how. By providing imaginative ideas and a structure for play, it makes co-creation easy and enjoyable.
When a phone is placed in the Doughy case, the app launches automatically. The parent and child each select emojis reflecting how they feel, and the app generates a story based on these emotions. Together they choose characters, act out scenes, and use props to trigger AR elements. The clips are then edited into a finished video, making memories out of play
