CIID Pop-Up Schools bring transformative learning to people around the globe, with empowering workshops that combine hands-on learning, prototyping and innovation.
These week-long courses welcome professionals and students, and are led by international experts from CIID’s extraordinary global community. Everyone in our courses learns to master life-centred design processes, which build upon and expand the principles of human-centred design to address broader ecological and systemic perspectives, embrace emerging technologies, and accelerate innovation that brings real impact, and align with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
The workshops are open to all, but are specifically tailored to the needs of professionals looking to expand their creative toolkit. The diverse mix of participants - both culturally and professionally - makes for exceptionally rich discussions, new perspectives and unique networking opportunities.

The workshops are open to all, but are specifically tailored to the needs of professionals looking to expand their creative toolkit. The diverse mix of participants - both culturally and professionally - makes for exceptionally rich discussions, new perspectives and unique networking opportunities.
Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each workshop can accommodate a minimum of 16 and a maximum of 24 participants. In the rare event that a workshop does not take place, participants can either receive a full refund or transfer their place to a later date. We therefore strongly recommend that participants book only refundable travel and accommodation, as we cannot take responsibility for costs incurred due to course cancellation.
