I’m an educator, facilitator and connector with a deep belief in the power of design to imagine and create more positive futures.

For two decades, I have been dedicated to building the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID), which I co-founded in 2006. I have shaped and led the Interaction Design Progamme, built an extraordinary international community of students, faculty and collaborators, and supported generations of designers in finding their own paths.

A lifelong curiosity about the natural world, shaped by travel and now living in Costa Rica, has deepened my interest in living systems and regenerative approaches.

I love bringing curious people from different backgrounds together to learn, exchange ideas, make things and discover new possibilities, particularly around how we might design not only for people, but also for the wondrous diversity of life with which we share the planet.

I’m interested in what can happen at the intersection of design, nature, learning and community, and how we can collaboratively pave the way for more regenerative futures.
