Guglielmo Padovan is a 3D artist whose profession and personal passions keep spilling into each other. By day he creates architectural visualizations. The rest of the time, and increasingly at work as well, he builds immersive and interactive experiences, real-time visuals and light installations.
After studying Industrial Design at Bournemouth University, with internships in Italy and China, he moved into archviz, producing imagery and animation and helping steer the studios he worked for toward real-time and interactive work for presentations and events. Outside the studio, he has created audio-reactive visuals for night events, laser shows and installations that respond to body, hand and face movement.
He joins CIID to bring spatial design and interaction together, moving from the screen into physical space and designing interactions people can walk into, touch and shape.
