CIID Connect is a monthly online event series bringing people together around ideas and conversations that shape the future of design for positive impact. Each session features designers, researchers, educators, technologists, artists and change-makers sharing their work, experiences and provocations.
This month, we welcome two great designers. Both graduated from CIID's Interaction Design Programme and have gone on to have very sucessful careers.
David Sjunnesson: a designer and leader working on complex challenges with a focus on sustainability and everyday impact. As well as having his own studio, he currently works at IKEA and previously served as Design Director at IDEO, where he led client collaborations to deliver digital products and strategies.
Jose Avila: an Interaction Designer with an Industrial Design Engineering background and over nine years of experience in UX/UI. He works as a Senior Product Designer on the Xbox team at Microsoft, where his early love for games and virtual worlds informs his approach to design.
Rooted in curiosity, experimentation and life-long learning, CIID Connect is a space for dialogue and exchange. These events are open to all - students, professionals, alumni, educators and anyone curious to join an ongoing global conversation shaped by diverse voices and perspectives.
