Carrie is a voice activated companion device designed for seniors in home care. It bridges the gap between professional medical visits, supporting both seniors and families during the hours when no other help is present.
It is a reminder scheduling system, medication check-ins, and daily conversation all through an ambient expressive face. A caregiver can access a web panel that gives the family real-time visibility into the status of reminders and daily updates. This replaces fragmented group chats and other sources of communication with a single source of truth. In return this restores dignity by preserving daily autonomy, and allows caregivers to rest without guilt. When the family visits, they're not troubleshooting, they're connecting. Carrie doesn't replace human care. She makes space for it.
