Andrés Gómez is an Industrial Design Engineer from Costa Rica. Since he was a child, he has been fascinated by design and technology—constantly exploring how things work and how they can be improved. Over the years, his passion has led him to work across bioinspired architecture, digital arts, and UX/UI design, always seeking ways to enhance user experiences in both physical and digital spaces.

He sees himself as a problem solver, using design thinking, prototyping, and emerging technologies to create meaningful interactions. His work blends 3D modeling, digital fabrication, and immersive media, allowing him to bridge the gap between physical and digital environments. He enjoys experimenting with new materials, fabrication techniques, and interactive systems to craft solutions that are not only functional but also engaging.

Now, as he joins the Interaction Design Programme 2025 at CIID, he is excited to further explore the intersection of design, technology, and sustainability, creating experiences that are both innovative and impactful.
