We were curious about how Bergamo has evolved and developed over time. The city is in the midst of a transition, once defined as UNESCO-protected Venetian walls - a strong medieval military fortress. The city is shifting into an industrial powerhouse with many outside the city. We spent time exploring the city and we observed that there is a natural mix between the old and new. Centuries-old stone palazzos, which once housed Renaissance merchants, now serve as the sleek storefronts for contemporary global design. Right beside a nostalgic analog photobooth - a relic of slow, captured memories sits a row of docked e-bikes, humming with the clean energy of a fast-moving, modern transit ecosystem. Woven seamlessly into this urban tapestry is Bergamo’s deep connection to nature, acting as the green lungs of a changing city.
Through our video, we tried to capture this transition between yesterday and tomorrow. It is a city where the cobblestones guide you toward sustainable futures and ancient history slowly blends into the soft humming of electric wheels.
