I’m from Germany and I’m currently studying for a Master’s degree in Communication Design. So far in my studies, I have mainly focused on visual communication and information design. I also gained experience in interaction design during my semester abroad. I'm particularly interested in how design can facilitate new ways of thinking that go beyond products.

In my current favourite book, How to Do Nothing, Jenny Odell describes how important it is to create space for deeper, creative impulses and authentic encounters in an increasingly fast-paced and consumer-oriented society. During my time at CIID, I would therefore like to explore ways of taking a fresh look at what already exists and drawing more attention to nature and local communities.

I am particularly looking forward to interdisciplinary exchange, combining different techniques and ideas, learning about new approaches and collaborating to find innovative solutions. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, practising creative writing, and exploring topics related to the environment, nutrition, and society – preferably through reading books.
