Hannah is a communication design student from Germany. My main areas of experience are visual communication and graphic design. During my Bachelor’s degree, I also studied product design, which broadened my understanding of design processes and thinking across disciplines.

In my design practice, I love combining analogue and digital methods and experimenting with different techniques. I’m really excited to explore new tools and approaches at CIID, and to learn in an international, interdisciplinary environment.

One topic I’m very passionate about is intersectional feminism, particularly how design can be used as a tool for reflection, participation and social change. I would like to research this further during my time at CIID.

Outside of design, I’m an active person who enjoys being outdoors and doing sports. I also love getting creative in my free time, reading, and learning new languages. I studied in Italy for my entire Bachelor’s degree and I’m very excited to return!
